Introduction

The Optiqroute 2510 is a load balancing router equipped with:

The OptiQroute 2510 is a high performance load balancer achieving up to 900 Mbps throughput. There are 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports with SFP module option, and 8 x 10/100 Mbps WAN ports, amounting to 10 ports to interconnect with internet interface provided by ISP in T1, E1, DSL, Cable or leased line connection. The OptiQroute 2510 provides inbound and outbound traffic load balance with build in 10 load balance algorithm.

The OptiQroute 2510 provides up to 300 site to site VPN tunnels and 800 Remote-to-Site tunnels for enterprise VPN application. The VPN data stream is securely protected by different VPN protocol. There are 5 VPN protocols supported by the OptiQroute 2510, including IPSec VPN, L2TP VPN, PPTP VPN and L2TP over IPSec. In extention to the security, the network is optimally secured with a stateful firewall in combination with an intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS).

To effeciently keep the service alive while hardware module fails, the OptiQroute 2510 supports Master-Slave backup mechanism (High Availability) by VRPP mechanism, allowing service disturbed during maintenance. Besides, the dual hot swappable power mudules and fan modules intelligently protect the system from out of service due to power failure.
